I am the senior teacher in the Clay Cliffs class which caters for students for Years 5-8.

After completing my degree in Applied Linguistics I then traveled overseas to teach English before returning to New Zealand to complete my Postgraduate degree in Primary Teaching. I began my teaching career in rural Glenorchy then spent 12 years at Wanaka Primary School before moving to the small rural town of Omarama. My passion lies with language and the acquisition of first and second languages. I enjoy teaching the senior students and supporting them to develop their problem solving skills, encouraging them to take risks and find success in their learning.

Outside the classroom, I have a 10 year old son and teenage daughter that keep me busy and I enjoy getting into the hills when I can.
